About SOSBIAA

« SOS BIAA » is an association of engineers, lawyers and doctors. She has worked in the environmental sector.

Our association was founded a few months after the revolution of January 14. During the post-revolution, we noted that the "sit-in" in several industrial sites (cement, landfills of household and industrial waste

 

The objectives of our association are:

  • Promote actions with civil society, industry and government agencies to protect the environment and especially the fight against all forms of industrial pollution.
  • Act as an intermediary between the people and the industrial polluters to settle preserved in a friendly way.
  • Framed populations living near industrial areas by adopting a scientific approach to address environmental problems through the implementation of rigorous monitoring programs.
  • Explain to local people their rights.
  • Find quick solutions to mitigate environmental impacts,
  • Put pressure on the Tunisian authorities to ensure that public consultations are becoming an integral part of any environmental impact
  • Work with government agencies and civil society to improve the quality of life in areas adjacent to industrial sites.
  • Promote the creation of jobs in the environmental sector.
